perp Posted August 23, 2009 Share Mountain biker was attacked in the Alberton South area, heading towards the Blockhouse on the dirt road. This happened yesterday afternoon at about 15:00 There were 2 of them, one armed with a panga and the other with a knife. Cyclist sustained 2 cuts from the panga when they attacked him. Slave Posted December 1, 2009 Share Another cyclist was jacked in this area. I do not have the specifics since I got the news second hand. It sounds to me like the same two perps (except I think there were three this time.) and it also sounds to me like it happened in the vacinity of the steps. There is a rumour doing the rounds that a Bike shop in Boksburg is buying the bikes, thereby creating a market for our stolen and jacked bikes.
