I currently have a stripped ellen bolt on a FSA carbon pro team issue crankset. What are my options on getting the stripped bolt loose so that I can simply buy a new FSA bolt. Some shops told me the only option is drilling the bolt loose, but i think it is too risky as a new FSA crankset would cost R5500!!! I am feeling some play on the cranks when turning them.  I want to get to the BB and fasten the whole chainring and cranks to see if it solves the problem. I would really appreciate any advice.

You have several options.

1) Drilling

2) Drilling

3) Drilling.

I advise you drill. What you need is someone that knows how to remove stripped bolts AND has a special set of tools for removing studs.

Unfortunately you are in the south of America, otherwise I could have helped you.

Edit: If you keep on riding with that loose crank you'll ruin it...if it isn't already ruined.
