Which Hardtail in the 10 to 15k price range

Might be worthwhile to wait for the 2010 bikes to come out and get a bargain 2009 bike.

 

Think Giants (Dragons) Stock in coming in at the end of October.

 

Just make sure the bike you buy has a decent Fork and Wheelset, you don't want to upgrade that in the near future.

Knersis is right, if you have the patience rather wait til next year, my Raleigh was brand new out the box but it's the '08 model and I paid the '08 price

Specialized are bringing out their 2010 range, maybe now is the time to get a 2009  bike (that's how I got my epic at a good price).
