Bionic man Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 My friends bike was just stolen in Plumstead - 20/09/2009, Western Cape, out of his car along with a whole lot of new spares. 2003 Raleigh RC9000 Large (green/blue), full carbon fork, carbon rear stays, RPM carbon crank, Ritchey wheels, Campag 9spd groupset, Kore seat and seatpost, along with his shoes, helmet, brand new Ryder pedals, spare Ultegra 9spd crank, carbon stem and a GPS for his boat. No pics unfortunately, The usual reports have been filled in and I pity the birdbrain when he gets caught (not). I would honestly just take the insurance payout and get something better looking. Anything. I have a Raleigh myself and like it, but damn, that green and blue thing with the orange dots on is just hideous.Sorry Bionic man, but it had to be said. Hope your friend gets the/a bike soon. Horrible when someone steals your stuff. Even if it's ugly....
