Hi Hubbers,

I got tar on my bike frame and white fork and can't seem to get it off with normal sunlight liquid.Angry

Whats the best stuff I can buy that will work to get it off?

Also, a few months ago I saw a pink product being advertised on the hub that cleans your Mtb Chain/Cassette...Anyone know of a good product?

And no clean green does not work well Ouch

Thanks.

Margarine will work if you apply and leave for a while and then rub off. Any distillate or light oil on the crude oil distillation process lighter than bitumen ..... which is almost right at the bottom will dissolve bitumen. Bitumen is an abundant by product of the crude oil process. Tar came from natural scources and may not be used any more, by law. Tar is carcogenic..... bitumen not.

Margarine is not made from crude by products, but has vegetable oil that is also lighter than bitumen. There may be animal fats in margarine like whale fat and others.
