This forum is littered with good news posts from avnic (lots from polar too' date=' actually), nice to hear good service getting flaming chillies. However it does worry me that people continually need the service (can't it just sommer work, rather?).

?

I can only comment on what happened to me. My son bought me the first 305 on e-bay in the UK and sent it out here. After about 8 months it started switching off randomly. Phoned Avnic and asked them if they will honor the guarantee. They said to bring it in and they would find out. Did that and 2 days later the courier dropped of a new unit at my house. No questions asked. smiley1.gif

@ Shebeen - True, it would be better if stuff just worked without problems. Fact is, the users are not always clued up with the technology and therefore a lot of problems arise. I do agree that the 305 had a problem with power but as far as I can deduct that was sorted with a modification in later models. As far as the problem with my 705 goes, I needed electrode gel for proper contact with the skin.

It is also comforting to know that if you run into a problem, the backup service is there, and it is something to rant and rave about! smiley20.gif
