droo Posted October 1, 2009 Share SLX rings are odd looking. I've just got my sticky paws on a double crankset, and the 36t ring has a 'shark fin' profile - but facing the opposite way to how it would look if it was worn. droo Posted October 1, 2009 Share That's pretty common on big blades, it's part of the shift gate. They should be in 2 places, directly opposite each other.
