Ok, here's the story, a friend of mine gave me a Manitou Sliver Shock as a present. It was on his sons bike, he took it of and put something else on. He loaned it to a lady friend of his that did one race with it. So it's still brand new. The problem is that the steerer tube is cut. It does not fit on my or my sons bike. What can I do... is it worth it to put on a new steerer tube? smiley3.gif

If it is a headtube that can be knocked out and replaced then its a bargain to sort it out. I know with Fox it is feeze welded inplace so one has to replace the whole crown and stanchion assembly. As Mampara says - LBS should be able to sort you out...
