There is no risk. A frame clamped in an idt could see less stress than when riding on the road.

 

Owners manual that came with my Cannondale full carbon TT frame said:

1. Wipe sweat off the frame, as it is very corrosive when in contact with metal parts.

2. They cautioned against using an IDT that clamps the fork as well (without a front wheel) as the fork was not designed for this.

 

Other than that, they have no problems with an idt.
