physio/ sport med recommendation in cape town

hey astana - have a dodgy back that needs some attention plus more urgently, recently my knees started hurting 3km into a run/ jog. i cycle for hours though without any problems so thought i have an expert have a look at them.

The best for injuries / problems would be Dr. Jeroen Swart at Sport science at newlands Capetown. There are physios as well, but he will be able to help you.

 

Normal physio will only treat the area where you complain it hurts.

you have to decide if its really a big problem or not - but he will refer you to someone if its not such a big thing or he will be able to sort it out himself if it requires expert attention

if this is a stabbing/sharp pain on the side of the knee it might be ITB - google it and see - but best to see someone who can help.

 

Best not to stretch it out for too long - recovery is much longer then - ask me
