bradjackson Posted November 9, 2009 Share Try the Eastern Cape Mountain Biking website He has a bunch of GPS resources including routes which can be downloaded. http://www.ecmtb.co.za/index.php?page_name=page&menu_id=9 bradjackson2009-11-09 23:20:
Mudbream Posted November 10, 2009 Share There are some routes on www.mudmaps.co.za From there you can download routes and save them to your garmin - save the text as a GPX file then use the software that came with the garmin to upload the route. You can also save any routes you've created to the website to share with everyone.
bradjackson Posted November 10, 2009 Share That Site looks promising. And its good that its local. At the moment I use an app on my cell phone called GPSed It uploads my rides in real-time to the gpsed.com server and saves them online. Here's one of my rides: http://gpsed.com/track/13023113584431231 You can also download the saved tracks in .gpx format which can be uploaded to your Garmin via Mapsource. I have a few rides on there, mostly in the PE area though.
