Hey guys

 

I'm currently pimping the Gt again and as my current Bonty's are running thin I'm looking at some new tyres as well. 

 

I want a light dry condition race tyre and have looked at these, reviews seem posititive ! Low centre and raised side knobs seem perfect.

 

The nice part is 380g claimed for tube type 2.00 !!!

 

Anyone ride these? opinions ?

How will they run with the stans conversion on ztr 355 rims, as my current tyre is so tight I can't even get it off to put a tube in...

Are you going to run them tubeless?

 

I would be keen to follow this and reviews on them. I currently have a set of Nokian Gazza's on mine - very fast rolling and great corner grip in the dry - good enough in the wet too. they are not tubeless specific, the front feels fine at 2 bars to 1.8 at min, but the rear squirms all over the rims at anything lower than 2.3. I know this is because the tires are not 2bliss ready, but I love the light weight.

Yeah with the stans olympic strips and sealant

Used them for Sabie and Sani2c, did not like them at all, very good for getting punctures on them.

Ok I understand but let me also then state that I am a light rider and not abusive to my kit.

 

I mainly do 40 -80 km rides/races and ride groenkloof allot.

Im not intending to do stage race type events on these, for that I would go UST tubeless.
