Mooi River Mad Max adventure

Hi, anyone in KZN do the mad max MTB race in mooi river. If so what did you think?

 

New race so there was a small field, tough 50 Km trail and a puncture cost me 20 minutes.

 

The free flavoured milk was nice though although the seconding table could have give a bit more than just powerade, bananas or boiled potatoes would have gone down well.

 

I'll try again next year.

I was there..did the 40 km though. Enjoyed the ride..although some of the singletrack was pretty rough and bumpy. The course along the riverbanks was pretty nice though Glad the weather co-operated too.

Heard some good things..and sure the field will be bigger next year. Hopefully the sponsors come on board ...
