gummibear Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 What is the difference between a road and MTB stem.I need a 120mm stem and have a spare one from my road bike,can i use it or will it break under stress off road.
Iwan Kemp Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Should be fine. Unless it's a superlight carbon model. As long as it is the same diameter as the bars you shouldn't have any issues. If in doubt I have a 120mm FSA MTB for you
