I have recently got a new bike that came with the above mentioned brake set. It is running on Shimano XT disc hubs with XT rotor.

My front brake is making contact with the rototor I have done the following

1. pushed the piston bake

2. Realigned the entire unit on the fork

After the above it was sorted, I had to take the wheel off and when I put it back on it was making contact again.

Why is this what else can I do?

 

The fork is a magura durin race if that has any relevance

Your brake resivoirs, (spelling) may be over filled thus causing your pads to hit the rotors, try bleeding your brakes.

Other option will be to remove the calipers, fold a business card over the rotor, put the calipers back, pull brake levers while tightning, if you pressed teh pads back, best tp pump the brakes a couple of times with the business card spacing the caliper before tightning.
