Route:

Cedar road toward Lanseria

N14 toward Krugersdorp Hill

Up the Hill and thru the town

A loop around Randfontein

Return via

the Cradle of Human Kind

 

 

The purpose of this ride is Time in the Saddle - so anticipate a ride time of anything between 4-5 hrs depending on stops be they human or mechanical. 

 

There will be experienced riders of various strengths, average speed 24km +

 

en-route we can determine the need to split the group if necessary, but strong riders are encouraged to support others by setting and controlling an appropriate pace, sitting in the wind etc etc.

 

If you're training for the Epic and want to join us on your mountain bike you are free to do so and wheel [sic]* accommodate you as much as possible.

 

For those not up to the full distance of 110km(ish), due to injury obtained in training or Christmas parties, a couple of guys will turn back when we reach Krugersdorp Hill, ride distance roughly 50-60km.
