Kupe Posted December 19, 2009 Share Another possible area, When I bought my Tcr advanced I had the same clicking noise and also thought it was from the bb, turned out that it was from the seat tube and all it needed was to be regreased with carbon grease and re seated. noise went away Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

RossW Posted December 19, 2009 Share Spesh - Yip, riding on SPD's but the noise happens even when in slops on the pedals. But...I can get the noise to happen just by sitting on the bike, feet on the floor and "violently" twisting the bars left to right and so on. Therefore, I think the BB and pedals are out of the equation. Maybe it is the pivots (Santa Cruz Superlight)... they do have some rust on the bolts so could be from them.
