Hey guys buying my second mountain bike

first was a wheeler with Suntour shock and sole hayes disk brakes

deore front back and middle.

Time for an upgrade, was not mad for the shocks and brakes

got about 7k to 8K to spend kinda want SLX full components

Q whats the best value for money bike

looked at GT saskar, Scot scale 60, etc also do i buy new or a better second hand , weirdly prices are not that different 1 or 2 K difference,
