Overlord Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 So tomorrow I'm doing a training (hope I do not die) ride with two lean mean racing snakes!!!! Any tips from the racing snakes on the hub as how to survive the ride?

Don't try stick with them on the climbs - ask them at the start to ride back down & crest with you on the 2nd one - that way they get extra distance in, & you don't go into the red on every single climb.3. Eat enough before the ride - your body will be working much harder than on a standard ride & will need more feul.4. If you hit the wall, buy some coke or cream soda at a garage. I had a great time and its great riding with you racing snakes. Teaches me to ride at pace and climb at pace. The more I do training like that the better I will ride.
