In 1984, this Belgian ex-prof cycling rider was engaged by Fangio/Marc/Ecoturbo. However, he left that belgian team along the season and went to the Republic of South Africa.
Who will be able to inform when did he stop riding for Fangio?

As far as i know Alan van Heerden raced under that name in Belgium when SA wasn't allowed to compete overseas.

 

He passed away in a car accident a few weeks  back.

I have also worked almost a year for that site.  :-)
