Lets get a few things straight:

1. There are no flats in Jonkershoek.

2. Going slow on the uphills is OK;  Going slow on the downhills is not.

3. One Time is a MTB newby??? LOL LOL Think again.

4. Riding in Jonkershoek is always great; does not matter at what speed you ride.

Sorry we missed you guys. Got up a bit late.

Did not want to push mrs mountain_lion too hard riding from home to Jonkershoek and thus only arrived at the gate at about 08:15.

We assumed you would have left by then, so we did our own thing.

Kept looking out for OneTime when we past other groups, but did not spot him. Had a good ride; 47km home and back.

Next time.

I was wondering where you guys were. Hanged around at the entrance till 8:30 and then went ahead on my own. Did about 30kays, but not nice when you don't know the area and is on your own.

I asked a lot of people at the gate if they were there for "The Hub Ride", but most just looked at me like I was crazy. There was one Hubber, but he was there with a buddy and on a mission of their own.

Ouch  I saw Onetime and at least one silver bakkie at Welvanpas in Wellington this morning.  Looks like he changed his mind and forgot to let you guys know...

And I accosted and interrogated the drivers of the three silver Corsa bakkies I saw there this morning. They also looked at me in the manner that suggested that they were entertaining the thoughts that I must have sniffed something stronger than my socks this morning.Big%20smile
