MTB size? Bike shops just confuse...

Please help...

 

I've been visiting bike shops this morning without any success.

 

My inseam measurement is: 84.5cm

and my length is: 178.5cm

 

I would like to buy a new MTB frame but I can't seem to find any  concistancy in the bike shops advice.

 

Please help me with these calculations. Oh yes maybe this will make a difference but I'm looking at the Specialized Stump HT frame.
