X-Zackt Brake pads

Are X-Zackt brake pads any good? They are half the price of shamano so very interested.

I am not excited about the set i've put on the back wheel. They tend to loose ALL grip when whet and need to warm up substantially before the grip comes back. Nearly got caught out a few times on a lap race where there was a substantial water puddle just before a dropoff with a sharp right at the bottom... Fortunately the front pads were still shimano pads.
