That's not important' date=' just thinking aloud.[/quote']Yes it did eventuall run out of sweep, but after the service it is all fixed now. However it does not lock properly now. So it has it's sweep back but even fully locked, there is still movement on the shock OK, now I understand. Most forks have a little bit of movement in lockout position. Even fluid is slightly compressible and there is flex of the internal components under pressure. The only way to get it solid is to make a mechanical lockout and this will be noisy and full of lash and other nasties. Basically, lockout always has a soft edge.
