Baviaans Mega Mountainbike tour

Have you cycled through the Baviaanskloof?

Join us on a 6day tour through the Baviaanskloof and Grootrivier poort. The route is a challenge for any mountainbiker. Start at Patensie and cycle in a eastern direction,  go up at the Telkom tower and go up and down the Grootrivierpoort. From there go in a western direction towards Willomore. Enter the Baviaanskloof and do your bit through the Baviaans back to Patensie. Spectacular scenery and a challenge for your legs. All that you have to do is smile  and peddal.

Are you talking about the road that goes up to the masts between Patensie and Padlangs restaurant? That is the most murderous 15km of climbing ever. Dirty Twin and I took 1 hour 48min to climb. Where do you go from there?

Jip that's it. We keep left towards Willomore. Down to the Grootrivierpoort. There are no formal accomodation along this way. We do all the logistics. Tents and great food. Showers and a cash bar!
