2010 Epic Comp build - Forks

I am in the process of building a 2010 Epic Comp using my Merida 96 parts, will the Forks fit?? (Magura MD100)

 

seem to remember somthing about tappered headset or something, or am i barking up the wrong tree completely???

Yes, the alu Comp is standard 1 1/8" threadless.

The Comp Carbon has a tapered steerer, so which do you have? The Carbon or Alu?

Was going to get Carbon

I imagine your current fork would work of you got a reducer headset.

yeah, you'd need a headset from spezz (or cane creek, i think) that would convert it back to standard

oh ok, thanks guys, guess that will be a lot cheaper than having to get new forks!
