Do Carbon Frames degrade faster than Ali Frames?

i do not read all posts ...however in late 2008 i started a light bike project

 

so i decided to sand by hand a new mtb Cannondale Scalpel carbon frame.

 

20 hours of work ...

 

at nowadays , no issues ...and it's raw ! no clearcoat or other on it .... raw !

 

so no degrade i can write ;)

 

in 2009 i did a gold colour scheme 7500 g , in 2010 a purple one 8000 g
