Hi Everyone

My other half has decided she would like to start cycling with us, however she is short enough to be a better quarter.

We originally tried a Small Mongoose (a friends wife's) and it is still quite a bit too big. After going to our local Cycling shop it became clear that we will need a 14" or 15" frame (it's a risk that 15" will still be too big) and I do not want to go down to 24" wheels as it will be too difficult for her to keep up then and I do not want a too entry level bike as it will need to be upgraded then that will cost even more.

So my question is do any of you know of manufacturers producing frames that small or if you know of anyone trying to sell a frame that size? My budget will be around R 5 000.00.

To date all I could find is an XS Raleigh Canyon for just under R 5 000.00 but would prefer to look at some other options

Any feedback will be appreciated

How about a XS GT 3.0 - Bought November 2008 and has been collecting dust since the wife was on the bike thrice...

Mech Disks. I'd say about 4k and I'll even negotiate shipping costs with you...

Its literally standing around...

Kinghound PM Kiwi for 14" On Ones. I have a little friend who rides one and it fits her like a glove. She also treats it like a hooligan and it keeps coming back for more. Good price too, around 2k new....!?!?
