Hermanus Cycles Posted May 5, 2010 Share Try Caffe-latex It foams and thus works well on side-walls.

Clint Adams Posted June 6, 2010 Share Stans sealant is the best for tubeless. I had a a issue Saturday with my tires burping and the Stans sealed it strait away. I just pumped up the back tire again and i was off in no time. As my luck was i had the same issue with my front tyre which was done with Joe's sealant. The tyre did not reseal after the burp. I had to put in my spare tube. The Joe's were sticky and could not seal the side wall! Please try Stans Sealant. Believe me it works.
my_intense Posted June 7, 2010 Share Never tried this myself, but I know a bike techie that swears by adding a tablespoon of mieliemeal to the stans when he fits non-tubeless tyres. He was specifically referring to the cheapie Kenda Karma vanilla tyre (wired bead not folding). Been planning to try that some time, but for now I stick to UST. Hermanus Cycles Posted June 7, 2010 Share I heard Conrad Stoltz uses a bit of glitter with stans. (It layers the pieces of glitter in and around the hole. It does work. When you do have a blow out.... It will be all nice and shiny.
