As said earlier the warranty is voided if you open the watches but not other units and not the CS series where the unit mounts on the bike, not a sweating arm.

 

 

 

i had an F6 & the display froze so i took the back off & poked it a bit til it workd. Some time later i got condensation undr the glass so took it to polar.

 

 

 

They saw the seal was disturbd & said it was the cause of condensation. But they gave me a new unit anyway. That was pretty good.

 

 

 

They also said to use the courier service that operates btw them and the lbs's. Secure and no charge as long as you've got an lbs that likes you.

 

 

 

So i like polar - hope thats not too controversial.

 

 

 

can see its tough if you're outside gauteng tho'

My Suunto is easy to open and you clean the seal and pop it back with the battery, see no reason Polar should be different... 

 

Do you guys lube/grease the o-rings on the watch ?
