splat Posted June 25, 2010 Share I friend of mine has AC wheels on her MTB, but really battles with the skewers.She is a pretty accomplished rider and not a technophobe, but the skewers come loose often. If you hand tighten the small nut, its too tight to close and if its a bit loose, they open while riding. She/we find it difficult to find the right spot so they stay closed.
