Big Til Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Does anyone know about affordable accomodation for the Oudtshoorn 3 day event? looking for chalet or some place to stay for me and a MTB buddy.
Serendipity Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Kleinplasie - you can get the number in the book. It is owned by a guy who has done a few Epics, and the accomodation is really good. It is also close to the start/finish.
GLuvsMtb Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 There is a great Back-packers on Baron v Rheede (the street going to the caves). Think its called paradise backpackers. I usually book a twin room when I am in Oudtshoorn for a race. They have a comfy lounge and the bathrooms and kitchens are spotless and well equipped. They also have a pool - great for after a ride in summertime. Also secure off street parking and close to some really nice restaurants.
