Wannabe Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 I was so clever (read CLUMSY ) to crossthread the BB on my Mtb. To who can I take in the Bellville/Brackenfell area to have it sorted. Obviously need to be a shop that has the correct tool for this job. How much can I expect to pay for this?
Johan Bornman Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Stuff happens. Learn and move on. Try and find an old steel cup and use that to chase the thread. Be careful, keep it parallel and all that. If you are scared, go to a bike shop with a threader. I don't live in the colonies, so I can't recommend one.
