oclv110 Posted September 3, 2010 Share I am busy building a new bike. Giant TCR Advance SL with SRAM Red groupset. What pedals would you recommend. I obviously want to keep the weight down on this bike and my current Shimmano Ultegra pedals won't do.Thank you

Mr LOOK Posted September 3, 2010 Share Keo Blade Cr-mo's...should be in SA in about 2 weeks. They'll retail for about R2100.

Minion Posted September 3, 2010 Share I personally prefer Look pedals, but if all you care about is keeping weight off the bike then Speedplays would be the way to go.

Big J-WP Posted September 3, 2010 Share Very interesting Mr Look, I've been battling for two weeks to decide what pedal to buy, weight is not a problem I just want the best. (Strongest)
Mr LOOK Posted September 3, 2010 Share There's no weight limit on any LOOK product...so they are pretty safe. If you want the strongest...I'd go for the Keo 2 Max. The body of the pedal will be more robust than the Blade.(everyday use)

oclv110 Posted September 3, 2010 Share I have two sets of wheels. Bontrager Aero Lite Tubby's and a set of Reynolds Assault carbon clinchers. I will use my old easton carbon bars and hopefully it will come close to the 6.7kg mark. I was contemplating about the frame but this will be my 3rd Giant Advance frame and I really enjoy it.Most comfortable ride that I have tried.
