Garmin faults

I bought a garmin forerunner 201. A few months later i trid to switch it on to download to my pc and it wouldn't switch on. I tried to charge it but that didn't work either. i think it was after a very wet and muddy mtb ride. Has anyone else had similar problemsMTBiker2007-09-10 08:35:59

If you can get it to turn on,  check and update the firmware if needed.

 

Garmin often fix bug like that in firmware updates which are free downloads from their website.

Either take it back to your dealer or contact Garmin distributors Avnic Trading Tel +27 21 7889015 about backup.

I can't turn it on and have contacted avnic trading

I contacted Avnic trading, they looked at it and replaced it with a new unit
