Beast Posted September 24, 2010 Share I've had one of these for almost a year. It really is an awesome gadget and Garmin Connect is very handy when storing all your info and rides.

chris_w_65 Posted September 24, 2010 Share Really cool. I have always had Polar but I am impressed. Just a bummer the battery only lasts 20 hours and needs charging.Garmin connect is really cool and so is the ANT+ technology, by the time I get back to my PC and sit down the data is already uploaded to Garmin Connect. covie Posted September 24, 2010 Share Chris just wondering why you chose that above lets say a forerunner 405, (too lazy to compare ) but it looks just so big and bulky.
chris_w_65 Posted September 24, 2010 Share I liked the big screen/large digits (I am old = blind). Was a toss up between Edge 500 and Forerunner 310XT but the 500 is limited to cycling.I can never decide if I am going to concentrate on cycling or running, at the moment it is cycling so I have removed the strap and put on the 1/4 turn quick bike mount.
