SuikerBossie Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I have a set of Mavic Aksium Elite's which are about 2.5 years old. The soke are starting to rust. Is it work having them re-spoked or shud I just buy a new wheelset. There's nothing wrong with the wheels they run fine.
Johan Bornman Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Just buff them up with a bit of Brasso and go ride. I take it you are at the coast? Even glass rusts there. Nothing wrong with those wheels and there is no merit in replacing all the spokes. Besides, the cost will shock you.
