Tri Bike

... you could build a reasonable Tri bike for excluding wheels?

 

And by reasonable, I mean a Carbon frame, goodish groupset (Tiagra/Ultegra/Rival), Carbon Tri bars (such as Ness, that Kiwi is advertising) etc etc

 

Now how would that compare to one of those Trek bikes recently landed in the country for around R20k ( http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/triathlon/speed_concept_7/speedconcept70/ )

 

What's the best way to go, any thoughts ?

In the October Triathlon Plus Cervelo advertises the P2C Ultegra for R27900.. Not sure what the Ultegra refers to? Groupset?

Saw that advert as well and yes, that would be an Ultegra groupset.
