vetkop Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 (edited) I have a couple of sidewall cuts on my Maxxis CrossMark LUST tyre and was wondering if there is a way to fix the tyre so that is does not pop there? KnobbyMech Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Sidewall cuts on proper UST tyres is not likely to happen. Never ever had a bad sidewall cut on a Maxxis or Conti UST. If the cut is not through the casing, it should not become a problem, but you do get some patches specifically for tubeless tyres. I think it is by Lezyme (or something like that). Funny thing is they do not stick to Specialized 2Bliss tyres (where sidewall cuts do occur regularly compared to proper UST).
