And besides, what is quicker then walking into a shop and buy the pimp part and walk out.

It's moe satisfying to do your own stuff though.

 

What about chroming? It can be expensive, but you don't get more pimped or bling than that.

Of course, it really messes up the tolerance and is harder than nails.

How is powder coating removed? and by who? The powder coating on my frame is starting to look a bit dilapidated. What acid is in the "acid dip"? How much will it damage aluminum of the frame?
