JohnnyReggae Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 I'm looking for some anodized spokes. Where is the best place to get them (Cape Town preferably, but happy to pay for shipping from the rest of the country), and can they do customised lengths ? I need them to be 260mm.Cheers
Guest Big H Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Why anodized spokes..... why?????..... and if you really need them in what colour would they have to be. Modern spokes are make of stainless steel and does not need added protection.

Further, anodising is an inappropriate coating for something undergoing tensile stresses, so it won't last long. Thirdly, now with black being the new black on the spoke fashion-ramp, bike shops find it difficult to stock all the lengths and butts and flats etc etc in two colours, nevermind rainbow colours. Forget it. Silver is cool.
