West Coast Express photos - Open Group

Hi guys,

 

My wife and I did our very first race this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. So much so we're now doing the Durbanville High School race this coming weekend and have signed up for both Die Burger and The Cape Argus.

 

As we weren't seeded and part of the open group, I'd like to find out how I go about getting copies of any potential photo's taken of us on the WCE ride? I saw a number of people taking pics and in particular one lady (log brown hair and was driving a black SUV - Toyota RAV perhaps?) at a few points along the route.

I'd suggest ActionPhoto.net, but the website is pretty poor and I can't find WCE among the events. There is also no sign of the One Tonner pics on the site, and I know for a fact there were ActionPhoto photographers there.

 

The service I've received from them in terms of delivering pics has been rubbish as well.

 

You will find photos by Ronelle Rust on www.torquepics.co.za, but mostly of league groups.

I've emailed ActionPhoto to see if they have any.

 

I've had a look at Torquepics but as you say it seems it's mainly of the pro's and not us plebs at the back

I saw a couple of photographers along the route that took pics but the only pics ive seen sofar was from the elites race.
