I started road cycling a few months ago and think I am ready to take on further distance.

 

Can anyone give me some advise on where to go from now, do I need to join a club and what must I have to enter events.

 

I also would want to know if there are any cyclist in the Kempton area for group rides.

Don't need to join a club if you don't feel like to. I have been cycling for a few years and have never joined a club.

 

How far are you cycling and how much are your cycling?

 

To enter an event you only need a helmet and a bike

Ive been cycling for about 2 months now. 10km every morning and about 20-30km on weekends.

 

I have all the gear but not sure about this csa licence.

Speak to the guys at Finish Line cycles based at Glen Acres shopping centre in Glen Marais, they have both road and MTB rides. If you are intending on doing more than 2/3 races a year then it best to take out a lic, alternate you can buy a day lic for each event.
