Spruit Route from Emarentia

What is the riding conditions like in the Spruit nowadays as far as safety and the tracks is concerned. We go over Emarentia dam on the road bikes quite often and it seems as if there is a lot less mountain bikers starting from there

I rode there last Friday and Saturday and it seemed good enough.

 

They all on the road bikes for 94.7!
