Polar CS300 - Problem with Speed Sensor

Recommended Posts

I had a similar experience check the following.

1) Is the magnet close enough to the sensor

2) It the sensor with in range of the watch

3) As the watch battery runs down its range decreases and it doesn't pick up the speed sensor as the range decreases (this is what happened to me new battery sorted it) unfortunately the battery must be replaced by IHF there turn around time isn't to long I sent everything in (monitor strap and sensors to have them checked) but as the CS300 is new it could be under warranty. Phone IHF and chat to them they are the polar agents.

Hope this help

I had the same problem with my cs400. After I swapped the speed sensor it stopped. The battery in the speed sensor is run down and needs replacement.

I have CS300 as well and all I can say is good luck - you will expereince endless problems of a similar nature. The advice given above will sort the problem.

This is my second Polar product and definitely the last. Poor build quality and endless interface/connectivity problems makes it a pain in the ass.

The only positive is that their service is very good but even this becomes a problem if you don't live in Gauteng.
