  2. I have used this type mount for one bike (hardtail and road) for a couple of years, not the easiest to load the bike but for the price it works great. Just make sure about the exhaust and tyre placement. I bought replacement straps for R80 For more than 2 bikes you will want to go the platform style, much easier to load the bikes https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/bike-racks/708494/thule-xpress-2-bike-carrier https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/bike-racks/708711/rubber-bike-rack-strap
  3. I have been using the Garmin V1 strap for a couple of years. No issues for me.
  4. I am just using this after a hard ride or race. Works for me and cheap. Early morning rides I just drink it on my way to work. Biogen Pure Recovery Sports Recovery Drink
  5. I learned a nice trick with my TCR internal cabling, A magnet to catch the cable works a charm.
  6. I tried Kodi once and halfway in gave up en now only download my series en movies via torrent..maybe my instructions or way of doing it was wrong. Tiz and cycling today is working okayish
  7. Currently only have the Giant and Focus MTB that I primarily use for gravel riding. For what its worth, the Giant has the original BB and headset. The Giant was repaired, had a break on the seat stays but now looks like new.
  8. I have Fabric saddles on MTB and road bike. Their padding seems to be softer than the spez and it just works with my behind. The Fabric Scoop radius

  11. If you can get a proper bike fit done. It will help with comfort, hands, back and neck and your bum will appreciate it.
  12. This👆....i rode with a too narrow saddle for a too long time and was not nice. 145mm was the perfect width and never had issues again. Too soft after an hour will be painful.
  13. Hi Chad @Chadvdw67 Did you manage to get one? I think i have one lying around
  14. I used these and is very happy with it. Very grippy... https://rydercycling.co.za/index.php/ryder-products/grips-tapes/gripper-tape-detail
  15. I got myself Arnette glasses 2 years ago, just added silicon on the temples and still is very much happy with them, comfy, don't slid of, on MTB and Road rides never have to adjust them. I could choose any lenses depending on my budget but went with clear. previous ones were photochromatic., I wanted to go the Oakley route but the Arnette's were so much more comfy. https://www.otticasm.com/en/eyeglasses-arnette-knosh-an-7159-01.html
  16. Okay so I went the cheap route on my "new" MTB. I purchased stone chip a while back that is used on cars. It comes in rolls, think I paid then +-R250 p/meter. Measured the areas I wanted to apply (not all of the bike) cut out said pieces and tested before applying. Made sure area was super clean and just applied, where corners and bumps and difficult areas was present I used a razor blade to trim correctly. So far it is holding up nicely but only on for 3 rides. It is not a quick job but you save a lot. Still have plenty left for other bikes or areas as I go on.
  17. I must say. this is a pretty good deal, Nice 1x11spd, all you need is pedals and off you go. Ready to ride. you wont need upgrades pretty soon.
  18. What I do and this kindawork for me. We train @ 5 in the mornings winter and summer 3 times a week. So I try to eat healthy where we can with fruit and veggies and keep carbs low. Have not been sick and usually energy levels is okay. I don't have problems with sleeping, when head hits pillow I am gone. And yes I drink a lot of coffee. Ciplaton Multivitamin 1 a day 2-3 magnesium tablets daily as I are prone to cramping 1 iron tablet 2-3 times a week. due to side effects of constipation.
  19. If the pulley wheel looks like the one on the right replace. I usually just service them.
