aahhh - it never fails... mention lance and someone is bound to get their panties in a bunch.

It was a joke ffs.... The man will bring much attention to SA - just like he did at the Argus - this can only be a good thing for cycling in SA

I'm sure Lancie-pooh doesn't really need you hubbers jumping up and down protecting his good name when someone makes a joke about him

I have to get in to his good books, I need some contact details of his suppliers.

I never really liked his TT positioning.

actually, he looks odd on the bike in general - he doesnt / didnt have the smooth natural motion that LA/ulrich/contador/schlek seem to have

Hope LA's place isn't decided before THE EPIC, will be difficult to ride in cuffs!

Odd but LA does not seem concened at all about the doping investgaion, in fact he's making jokes about it, could be bluff though. Not the most tested athlete in the world as he claims (although i have yet to find an article where HE said it and not someone speaking for him). Begining of this week he had a knock on his door and surprise, it was dope squad to test him again. Judging by reports I would have thought they had enough to nail him by now.... perhaps not.

. The Epic is already way over subscribed. I cannot see Keving giving Lance any money for being in his race. .

A lot of sportmen from other diciplines such as cricket and rugby do it, usually to highlight some or other cause they are doing but sometimes for themselves.

Why should we deny a cyclist to ride a dicipline he has excelled in not to do it for his cause/personal use.

I am from Colombia and because of special situations I have the oporttunity to go to S.A. by the middle of march. I am an amateur MTB rider with experience in long stage races such as La Ruta de los Conquistadores (Costa Rica), Vuelta al Cotopaxi (Ecuador), Cordillera (Colombia) and Breck Epic (Colorado, USA). My goal is to have fun and finish the challenge not to compete for positions.

I am looking for a partner and entrance to participate. Please contact me if you are interested or if you know somebody that could be: jairo.vargas@hotmail.com

Cheers,

Jairo
