Hi guys,

Can one remove (meaning, adjust to zero level) platform damping completely from a Fox Float R rear shock?

My brother has a Float which came with a Commencal Meta 5.5, and it came preset with medium pro pedal damping. Neither of us are interested in this silly platform damping cr@#$p (although that's a story for a different thread), but unfortunately because it's the Float R, so it doesn't have any external compression damping adjustment.

Can one with a bit of tweaking turn a Float R into a small-bump-compliant shock, instead of investing in a more expensive piece of kit?
