Yoh!Id rather spend that on a light weight stem and saddle...But I suppose its pretty much for downhill more so then XC? not so much for DH as it is for All Mountain and light Freeride... but yeah as leet22 said... drop down for descents. patches Posted January 7, 2011 Share What does it weigh? ok, so these seatposts aren't for the weight weenies... the KS i7-r (for 27.2mm diameter) weighs in at 561g. The i950-r (the model for 30.9mm and 31.6mm seatpost diameters) weighs anything from 463g to 555g depending on travel and seatpost diameter. They have 75mm, 100mm and 125mm travel options. To put that in perspective a Crank Brothers Joplin 4 (so the equivalent of a 100mm travel KS seatpost) weighs in a 590g. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
