I'm guessing it's a thu-axle?!

if so, then I think the only thing that is dependent is the spacing.

I have a 150x12mm Hope Pro II rear hub on my DH bike and I just use a Da Bomb generic 12mm thru axle. Works just fine, and was pretty cheap. (R120 or something like that from CRC)

If you want something nice and fancy get the Rock Shox Maxle QR 12mm though axle for the rear. I know they definitely make a 135mm... I think there's a 150mm length too.

Thanks Patches

I am so confused.

The wheel is 135x12mm compatable. I assume this makes it a thru-axle although they sometimes give them different names on the web.

I need to convert it to quick release to match my frame. I bought the conversion kit and have some quick releaases but I think I still need the axle.

Second question: is you axle hollow or is is it solid? Do they com ein both varieties?

"if you're running a 135mm spacing I may have an old axle lying around that you can try for the fit. I live in Randpark Ridge so I'm close"

That would be amazingly helpful. I think my PM function is disabled. Give me a minute to figure it out.

hmm... I must say that I'm unfamiliar with through axle to QR conversions for the rear hub... But if it's anything like the conversions for the front hub, I don't think you'll need an additional axle. Your skewers should do the job.

The diameter of the hole inside the hub is too large for a quick release. It needs to rotate on the axle. The quick release probably needs to go through the centre of the axle. I don't have an axle so I cant't try it.

Did you get my PM?

First time I tried to use it on the hub - not sure if it worked and where to check for a reply.
